The Longji Terraces are located in Longsheng County roundly 2 hours from Guilin. The rice terrturn-on are built into the hillsides. The terrturn-on squinch like boundless serfage or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the high of the hill. This ingenious construction makes surmount use of the ssuperintendency arresourceful land and water resources in the mountainous section. There are somewhere 66 square kilometers terraced fields in southeast of Longsheng. The Terrturn-on were first built some 700 years ago during the Yuan Dynasty and scathelessd in the Qing dynasty by the local ethnic Zhuang and Miao people. Transportation: Bus from Guilin to Longsheng takes 2 hours and expenses some 15 yuan. Local bus from Longsheng to Longji Terrace takes 50 minutes and costs less than 10 yuan.
